After a quiet summer, Silver can proudly announce to have lots of new songs! We will be trying them in the next vew gigs, and decide which ones to put a a new album… Check out our tour schedule, and come see us!
It hasn’t been a long time since we’ve asked for your help, but we can’t exist without you. At the moment, we are drastically trying to improve and widen our repertoire. We are calling on YOU to contact us with some songs you want us to play. You can do so by emailing to: band@silver-music.nl

As before, Silver proceeds to another round via a wildcard! You could call us Wildcard Silver. The next gig will be on the 24th of Januari, at the Heren van Amstel, Amsterdam. We could really use your support so if you can make it, please come by!
Silver has progressed to the regional finals, and is very happy at the moment. This final will take place on the 12th of December, at the IJsbreker in Leusden. Check out www.clashofthecoverbands.com for more info! If you all come to this gig and vote for us as your favorite band, we could very well go through to the national finals in the Paradiso in Amsterdam! We hope to see you there.
After a period of no news and gigs and an absent drummer, we are playing again! Our first project is the Clash of the Coverbands, the first gig will be on the 25th of oktober. We will keep you posted on this…
Due to an injury of Peters shoulder, which needs a lot of time to heal, we have searched and found a drummer to replace him. Erik Hoekendijk (yes, Jeroens brother) will be playing the drums in Silver. We have allready played some shows with him, which some of you may have witnessed, and we have decided to keep him!
Check him and the rest of us out at one of our next gigs.
Last night was the final of the ‘Grote Prijs van Nederland’ in Melkweg Amsterdam. There were three prizes, best artist, crowd voting, and best band. We won nothing. We had a good time though playing with the other bands who were very nice, and we hope to play with them again.

Yes yes people, we have progressed to the finals of ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’! It was a night to remember. As you can read in the post below, three were chosen by the jury, and one by the audience. We were of course chosen by the jury. Since only a few of you came (thanks Erie, Roo, Aernout, David, Mike & Tineke, Eus, Charles, Matthijs, Sem, Femke, Irma and Myrte) we are kindly asking you to PLEASE come to the finals!! This life altering event will take place on December the 13th (oeee). We will keep you posted on the time etc.
Last saturday, Silver played in the Gigant in Apeldoorn. Playing in ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’ once again, Silver tried to win a place in the finals. They failed but get a second chance! Six bands will be competing for 4 places in the finals. This event will take place this friday, in the P60 in Amstelveen. One of these bands will proceed to the finals through votes from the crowd. That is why we are asking you to support us. There are two things you can do: Come to the gig and vote for us, or go the site of the competition (here) and vote for us.
